As our month of beautiful fashion shows come to an end, I thought it'd be best to show my favourite looks from Paris Fashion Week before all is forgotten-- but frankly that's impossible.
Paris Fashion Week was probably my favourite city of looks. From modern silhouettes featuring incredible cutouts to lustworthy necklines, I simply could not get enough of the collections in Paris.
Balmain stole my heart with Balenciaga in a close second. I for one loved the excessive use of black and white in both collections. I believe that everything looks good in black and white, and maybe I'm biased seeing that I'm sitting on top of my white quilt, wearing black leggings and a white top, while sitting next to my white pillow with a black K on it, but how can you resist such a dream combination?
Throughout all of the collections I was drawn to the accessories. Balmain and Lanvin in particularly succeeded in that regard. I've never been a major chocker fan but Balmain's take on chockers basically won me over. I loved how Lanvin mixed silver and pearl as well. I think that combination is so fresh and interesting to the eye. It's definitely a look I'll be wanting to wear more often as spring approaches.
Lastly, I wanted to comment on the fact that so many designers used gladiator sandals. I only pictured a few looks with gladiator sandals above, but I saw them throughout many collections. I don't have a pair to call my own but it's something I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for, as I think they look absolutely brilliant with edgy dresses.
Liebe Grüße,
Kirsten
