I recently redecorated my bedroom in the colour scheme of my dreams: black, white, and grey. I love interior design in addition to fashion, as I believe both go hand in hand in reflecting one's personal style. As a minimalist, I personally think my bedroom and fashion sense couldn't reflect me better.
The bed and vanity are both from Pottery Barn and the rest of the furniture is vintage. My chevron bedding is from West Elm and the "K" pillow is from a lovely shop called Daisy Bee Designs on Etsy.
My rather long dresser is covered in a range from my Vogue magazine collection to my cactus named Posh Spike (you've got to love a little Spice Girls reference). I love to keep my jewelry and perfume on a tray on top of my dresser also, as I find the accessibility so convenient when I'm getting ready to go. My dresser is also a home to my keys, which seem to belong perfectly on top of my Olsen shrine (I'm joking... kind of).
This brings us lastly to my beloved vanity. Having my window face the east makes my vanity the perfect place to sit and do my makeup. The compartments against the wall hold all of my cosmetics and the wicker container holds my brushes. I tied a navy ribbon around the container, since I thought it'd give it more of a feminine and personal touch. Alongside my brushes sits my MacBook Pro, making this vanity work also as a great desk. I bought my MacBook as a graduation present to myself in June and couldn't recommend it more, as it is so easy to use and simply indestructible.
