Marni
I loved Marni's use of layering and combined boxy silhouette. Easily one of my favourite collections from Milan Fashion Week.
Agnona
Jil Sander
Fendi
Another one of my favourite collections. I absolutely loved the use of prints and I aspire to have the feather reminiscent hair piece in my possession.
Trussardi
Sort of airline chic in a way. Besides the clothes themselves I adored the sandals in this collection.
MSGM
Versace
Milan Fashion Week was last week (17.-23. September) and the italian designers left us mixed between two decades: the 70's and the 90's.
In Trussardi's collection, the 70's is completely evident. With the playful use of scarves and colour scheme of cranberry and variations of blue, Trussardi brought the 70's back in a sophisticated fashion. I loved the way the models were styled above all else. I thought the red lipstick and hair pulled back combination was quite smart, as the look is so timeless. When you go to past decades for inspiration, I think keeping other details classic is so important, as it creates a modern look.
Versace and Agnona brought the 90's to the mix. Versace with it's use of crop tops and an over all black colour scheme, and Agnona with it's use of metal details and chunky shoes. Although those designers did bring 90's, the designers at London Fashion Week stole the 90's show in my opinion.
Liebe Grüße,
Kirsten
